January 31, 2023 by David Nugent

Super Bowl TrophyNFL Bettors cannot wait for Super Bowl Sunday as we got a massive game with two of the best teams in the league set to battle it out at Super Bowl LVII as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

The game will take place on Sunday, Feb 12 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This is the home stadium for the Arizona Cardinals and has a capacity of 63,400. The stadium can expand to take up to 72,200 fans and we expect it to be packed to the rafters!

This will be the third Super Bowl being played at the State Farm Stadium. The Philadelphia Eagles have played one game at this stadium and that was back in 2008 while the Kansas City Chiefs have not played a game at this stadium.

Fans in attendance will be treated to a fantastic half-time show with county music superstar Chris Stapleton set to sing the national anthem. Some of the other stars that will perform during the half-time show include Babyface and Rihanna.

Our NFL experts give you a breakdown of the strengths and weaknesses of each team as we get ready for Super Bowl LVII.

The betting odds for both teams remain the same at -110 and it comes as no surprise as the Chiefs and Eagles have been the two best teams in the league this season.

They are also playing at a neutral venue and we agree with the betting odds as this game could turn out to be an extremely competitive game that could be decided in the final minutes!

Super Bowl LVII Team Analysis

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles have played each other just 9 times and have a very even record. The Chiefs have won 5 games while the Eagles have won 4. These two teams have played each other just three times since 2010 and the Chiefs have won all 3 games. Their last meeting was back in 2021 and the Chiefs put in a strong performance to win 42-30?

Will the Kansas City Chiefs be able to make it 4 in a row or will the Philadelphia Eagles bounce back and finally beat the Chiefs after over a decade?

We take a look at how these two teams advanced to Super Bowl Sunday and look at their betting odds below.

* Odds have been provided by BetOnline and are accurate as of 31/01/2023

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have been one of the top teams in the NFL for the last few years and have made it to their third Super Bowl final in just four seasons. The Chiefs have the best stats in the NFL during the last 5 seasons as they have won 64 games.

They won Super Bowl LIV beating the San Francisco 49ers in 2020. They lost Super Bowl LV in 2021 when they went down to Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The 2022 Super Bowl final will be their 5th appearance in a final and they go in with a 2-2 record. The Chiefs finished their regular season with an impressive 14-3 record. The Chiefs won 7 games and lost just 1 when playing at home and were equally impressed playing away winning 7 games and losing just 2.

The three games that they lost this season were to the Cincinnati Bengals (24-27), Buffalo Bills (20-24) and the Indianapolis Colts (17-20). All three games were closely contested games and a few mistakes at crucial moments cost the Chiefs in the end!

The Chiefs won the AFC Championship yet again thanks to the brilliance of QB Patrick Mahomes and Harrison Butker who will once again need to be on top of their game if the Chiefs are going to beat the Eagles!

Current Odds: -110

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC Championship and will look to win their second Super Bowl on Feb 12. The Eagles have played three Super Bowl finals in NFL history, losing 2 and winning 1. They won Super Bowl LII in 2018 when they defeated the New England Patriots.

The Eagles finished their season with a similar 14-3 record as the Chiefs and have similar stats. They did well at home and finished with a 7-1 record, while their away record is a replica of the Chiefs, as they won 7 and lost 2.

Their three losses this season were to the New Orleans Saints (10-20), Dallas Cowboys (34-40) and the Washington Commanders (21-32). Unlike the Chiefs, the losses that the Eagles suffered were not close games, especially against the Saints and Commanders were they were outplayed.

QB Jalen Hurts will need to carry the Eagles and put in another strong performance for the Eagles to win. This Super Bowl final will also see two brothers compete against each other as Philadelphia’s Jason Kelce will square off against his brother Travis Kelce who plays for the Chiefs.

Current Odds: -110

Our Prediction

This is only the 4th time in the last 10 NFL seasons that the number one teams in both divisions have made it to the Super Bowl final. It’s set up a fantastic clash that should keep NFL fans on the edge of their seats.

The odds makers have called it right as we both teams look great on paper and will not be daunted of playing in a Super Bowl final.

We give the slight edge to the Chiefs because their head coach Andy Reid has coached the Eagles in the past and should be able to put together a game plan that helps the Chiefs win Super Bowl LVII.
