The 2020 NBA Playoffs are set to begin next week, but this year’s event will look much different than in years past.
All of the games will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The NBA season was shut down on March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the league was not able to resume until late July. 22 teams were invited to Orlando to compete for a playoff spot, and the field will be just 16 teams when the playoffs begin.

House of Highlights
Despite uncertainty and strange circumstances surrounding the season, the league will still be awarding a champion this fall. The league has developed a strict health and safety plan to ensure that the season is completed.
Even though US Sports fans won’t be in attendance at the games, there is still plenty of excitement surrounding the 2020 NBA Playoffs.
NBA Finals Contenders
* Odds have been provided by Intertops and are accurate as of 14/08/2020
This has been a strange season in the NBA, and that could lead to some crazy things happening in the Playoffs. With all that said, there are still five teams that stand out as NBA Finals contenders heading into the season.
Milwaukee Bucks
Odds To Win: +250
Giannis Antetokounmpo, “The Greek Freak,” appears to be on his way to a second straight NBA MVP Award this season. Antetokounmpo is scoring more than 30 points per game, and the Bucks have surrounded him with shooters.
Milwaukee leads the league in scoring, and they are a hard team to try and defend. The Bucks are the top overall seed entering the playoffs.
Los Angeles Lakers
Odds To Win: +275
LeBron James and Anthony Davis have combined for more than 50 points per game this season, and they are two of the best players in the league. James is looking for his first title in LA, and Davis should get to experience a deep playoff run for the first time.
The Lakers don’t have a ton of big names outside of their two starts, but Kyle Kuzma could provide a huge boost to this team off the bench.
Los Angeles Clippers
Odds To Win: +275
The Los Angeles Clippers have been without Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, but both players are expected to return for the playoffs. The Clippers are extremely deep, and they are led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
The Clippers have already proven that they can beat the Lakers this season.
Toronto Raptors
Odds To Win: +1000
Toronto is the defending NBA Champion, and the title is theirs until someone knocks them off. The Raptors might have lost Kawhi Leonard, but Pascal Siakam has emerged as a true star.
The Raptors can really defend, and their defense could carry them a long way in the playoffs.
Boston Celtics
Odds To Win: +1200
The odds for Boston to win the NBA title aren’t great, but this team just continues to improve. The Celtics are led by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, and this team is loaded with weapons.
Don’t be surprised to see Boston make a deep run into the playoffs.
NBA Finals Playoff Predictions
The Western Conference Finals will likely decide the NBA Champion this year, and that should be the best playoff series of them all. The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers have been on a collision course all season long, and they will square off.
Milwaukee and Boston will meet up in the Eastern Conference Finals, and it will be the Boston Celtics to come away with a stunning upset. The Celtics are loaded with young talent, and that talent will show up in the playoffs.
The winner of the West will win the title, and it just feels like it’s the Lakers year. LeBron James will get his fourth NBA Championship.
Bet the Los Angeles Lakers +280 to win the NBA title in 2020.
