Updated On Feb 25, 2018 by Cameron Bishop

In the first-week of February, we had reported that Electroneum (ETN), a mobile app which not only enables sending, receiving, and trading crypto currencies through smart phone, but also facilitates mining of coins, announced that the 2nd level of mobile mining beta testers was unlocked on February 1.

Further, the developers were glad to report that the results and feedback so far have been encouraging. Electroneum founder Richard Ells has issued an update of forthcoming events through an email and an official reddit post.

Miner

Electroneum will launch the mobile miner for Android phones this week during Mobile World Congress 2018 event, the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organized by the GSMA and held in the Mobile World Capital, Barcelona, between February 26 and March 1, 2018. The developers are also planning to introduce an app for iOS (iPhones). The app will run on beta (test) mode, but with full functionality, allowing users to mine ETN and keep the earnings.

Business deals

Richard Ells stated that a deal with Dentons, the 6th or 7th largest law firm in the world could be announced this week through social media. However, due to the nature of the agreement, Ells will be able to announce complete details regarding the deal only after receiving a nod from the law firm. The Electroneum founder, however, reported that the negotiations that were going on secretly for several months is nearing fruition.
Electroneum also revealed that it has entered into two more agreements. One of them is with a company, which is keen to introduce the app to their 30 million users. The second agreement is with a payment integration company, which will its users to purchase airtime and data with ETN. Electroneum will soon reveal complete details about the agreements.

Listing in exchanges

According to Electroneum founder, the tech team is working closely with KuCoin and listing may happen this week. Furthermore, HitBTC has reconfirmed to Electroneum that the latter is in the queue to get listed in March. The Electroneum team is also working with Cryptopia to sort out issues related to the listing. The Electroneum team is also in praise of Qryptos exchange, which has listed ETN.

Electroneum has pointed out that many of the crypto currency exchanges wanted the mobile miner to go live before they start promoting the crypto currency token. Furthermore, the founder believes that the current users will bring in a lot of clients once the mining facility goes live. The Electroneum team is confident of getting its crypto token listed in several exchanges later this year.

Media interviews

Richard Ells has several interviews lined up, including the one with BBC. Ells will also meet C level executives at companies to discuss partnership deals.
