The National Football League has been one of the only sports largely unaffected by the coronavirus pandemic, although around 66 players have dropped out of the upcoming season which is set to start on time. The league was forced to cancel all preseason games, but the entire regular-season schedule will take place.
Fans can expect another exciting season on the gridiron, even though most stadiums will sit mostly empty for the entire year. The action on the field will still be terrific, and there are many great teams set to take the field in 2020.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl Champions, having defeated the San Francisco 49ers in a great game a season ago. Several teams are ready to dethrone the Chiefs this season.

NFL Super Bowl Contenders
There are four teams that clearly stand out when looking at the NFL, and these four teams will factor into the playoff mix. Here are the current betting odds for the top four Super Bowl contenders in 2020.
* Odds have been provided by BetOnline and are accurate as of 08/09/2020
Kansas City Chiefs
Odds To Win: +450
The Kansas City Chiefs used an explosive offense in 2019 to win the Super Bowl, and that offense should be just as good in 2020. Patrick Mahomes is the best quarterback in the league, and this team could average close to 35 points per game this season.
Kansas City has also turned into a solid defensive team, and the Chiefs can win games in several ways.
Baltimore Ravens
Odds To Win: +650
Baltimore has the reigning NFL MVP in quarterback Lamar Jackson, and this team loves to run the ball. Baltimore averaged more than 200 rushing yards per game in 2019, and they are committed to the run.
There are still some question marks on this team, but Baltimore has a legitimate chance to win the Super Bowl in 2020.
San Francisco 49ers
Odds To Win: +1000
The 49ers had the second-best rushing attack in the NFL a season ago, and their defensive line is tremendous. San Francisco will likely use the same strategy in 2020, but they are in a very tough division in the NFC West.
San Francisco will factor into the mix, but there are some holes on this team.
New Orleans Saints
Odds To Win: +1100
Quarterback Drew Brees is nearing the end of his career, and he even admits that this might his last run. His favorite target, Michael Thomas, is back, and the Saints will have an explosive passing attack.
Don’t be surprised to see the Saints win the NFC this season.
Outsider: Green Bay Packers
Odds To Win: +2500
The four favorite teams are clearly ahead of the rest of the field, but there are always surprises in the NFL. Keep an eye out for the Green Bay Packers this season as their quarterback is on a mission.
Green Bay advanced all the way to the NFC Championship Game in 2019, and Aaron Rodgers is still one of the best passers in the league. He could very well carry this team on a deep postseason run in 2020.
Super Bowl Predictions:
It’s never easy to repeat as Super Bowl champions, but this Chiefs team seems poised to do just that. Their offense can score points in a hurry, and they are led by the best player in the NFL in Mahomes.
While the Chiefs represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, look for Brees to lead the Saints to the title game in the NFC. This might be the final run for Brees, and he still has some magic left in his right arm.
New Orleans makes it to the Super Bowl, but the Kansas City Chiefs just have too much talent. The Chiefs are going to repeat this season, and they will do so in convincing fashion.
Bet the Kansas City Chiefs +600 to win the Super Bowl.
