NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin was abruptly removed from NFL Network Super Bowl coverage after news broke that he had behaved inappropriately with a woman in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel which is owned by the Marriot.

Irvin said he was very surprised when he found out that he was removed from covering the Super Bowl LVII when the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Philadelphia Eagles and claimed he had no idea why he was stood down!

Michael Irvin Files $100M Lawsuit

Irvin would later find out that a female employee working at the Renaissance Hotel had filed a complaint with the hotel against him for inappropriate behaviour. She claims that Irvin who was visibly drunk met her in the lobby, touched her a couple of times and asked her did she know how it felt to have a big black man inside her.

He then tried to grab her hand when he saw that she was visibly uncomfortable and try to apologize for the same but she backed away. Irvin and the woman then parted ways in the hotel lobby.

Irvin claims to have vaguely remembered the incident but said no inappropriate behaviour took place. He filed a $100 million lawsuit against the Marriot and the woman for falsely accusing him.

Irvin Claims He Is Being Framed

The Judge ordered the hotel to release the CCTV of the incident and the same was made public this week. The video shows the NFL Hall of Famer and the lady shaking hands before entering the hotel bar. Irvine touched the lady’s elbow twice during the 2 minute conversation, they shake hands again and part ways.

The lady goes into the bar and Irvine walks to the lobby, where he stops and slaps himself thrice in the face! There is no audio to confirm what was being said in the video.

In a statement, Irvine said

This sickens me because in this great country, this takes me back to a time where a White woman would accuse a Black man of something, and they would take a bunch of guys that were above the law, run in a barn, put a rope around his foot and drag him through the mud – and hang him by the tree.

All things casino related are what interests Landon, and having been involved in that industry for the last thirty years and having actually worked in several different roles in the casino industry he is definitely very well placed to keep you in the know in regards to what is happening in the casino industry as a whole.
