While NFL Media hasn’t released an official statement, news reports claim that an unidentified woman has made a complaint about Irvin’s alleged inappropriate behaviour.

Irvin is alleged to have greeted the woman in the lobby of his hotel and shook her hand before moving on. Later that night, Irvin was told he had to change hotels and when he asked why, he was informed it was due to the altercation he had with the woman in the lobby.

Irvin initially denied talking to anyone in the lobby but when he was shown CCTV footage of him interacting with the woman, he admitted that he did interact with the woman for less than 45 seconds but said that nothing inappropriate happened between them.

Michael Irvin Denies Any Wrong Doing

Irvin told the Dallas Morning News that that he had drinks and dinner with former NFL player Michael Brooks and then went back to his hotel. He met an unknown woman in the lobby whom he greeted and shook hands with and then moved on. He said he has no idea what the conversation entailed but said it was a friendly conversation.

Irvin has refuted any allegations of inappropriate behaviour and said no sexual wrongdoing took place. Local law enforcement agencies claim that they have not received any complaint against Michael Irvin as of this writing.
