PGA legend Tiger Woods was involved in a serious car accident on Tuesday in California. The authorities confirmed that no other cars were involved in the accident that took place at high speed. He was alone in his SUV during the crash and was able to communicate with rescuers who pulled him out via his windshield.
Tiger Wood’s SUV suffered significant damage and the rescuers had to use the ‘jaws of life’ to pull Wood’s out of the wreckage.
He was taken to a nearby hospital immediately and the doctors are treating him for some serious injuries none of which is life threatening. Most of the injuries were to his legs and he had to be taken into surgery immediately.
Tiger Woods has had issues with substance abuse in the past and a lot of the general public are wondering if he was under the influence of any substance. The authorities confirmed that they had carried out tests for drugs and alcohol and everything showed up clean. The authorities did not confirm how fast Tiger Woods was driving at the time of the accident. The speed limit was 72 kmph.
Woods has had multiple surgeries during his career as a professional golfer which includes 82 victories on the PGA tour. Tiger Woods has gone through 5 back surgeries, the last of which took place on December 23, 2020.
We are yet to get an official report on his overall injuries from the cash and his condition after the surgery.

Tiger Woods has a massive fan following on social media and as soon as news broke of his accident, thousands of fans from all over the world starting sending in their support and praying for Woods.
Some of the notable personalities that did send well wishes to Tiger Woods included his ex-girlfriend and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn. The two broke up in 2015 but remain as friends. Vonn tweeted that she was praying for Woods to recover.

His former mistress Rachel Uchitel said she was concerned about Woods and wondered what impact the crash would have on his career. Uchitel said that Tiger Woods had suffered so many injuries and did not need another injury or surgery in his life.
