Mohegan Sun Pocono To Offer iGaming & Sports Betting

Mohegan Sun Pocono Mohegan Sun Pocono announced that it has partnered with the Kindred Group to offer online casino and sports betting services in the state of Pennsylvania. The Kindred Group will offer sports betting and iGaming services under the Unibet brand and this will include services at the Unibet sports betting lounge located inside the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) which owns Mohegan Sun Pocono did not provide any information with regards to when these online casion games or sports betting services will go live in the Keystone state. There was also no information given as to when live sports betting will be made available at the Mohegan Sun Pocono lounge.

Mohegan Sun Pocono is currently in the process of holding discussions with the Pennsylvania gaming regulator to work out arrangements for both its offline and online gaming services. In the meantime, the company will work with the Kindred Group to put together a robust offering and be ready for launch.

The two companies have entered into a five year partnership with a rolling contract that allows for an additional two five year tenures should both parties be in agreement.

Introduction of the Kindred offering to the market is a great positive for Mohegan Sun as well as the state of Pennsylvania

Mohegan Sun Pocono

The Mohegan Sun Pocono is located in Plains Township and has a casino floor that covers 82,000 square feet, featuring 2,300 slot machines and 91 live table games. The property covers over 400 acres and has a 238 room hotel and a convention center that covers 20,000 square feet.

The Kindred Group was happy to partner with an established casino in Pennsylvania and expand its presence in the United States.

Pennsylvania is just the fourth state in the country to legalize online gambling but so far no online casinos have gone live. The Kindred Group already has operations in New Jersey and will be looking to make its mark in the Keystone State as well.
