Anthony Lusardi, Director of Ethereum Classic Cooperative has Tweeted that Ethereum Classic (ETC) has received support from MetaMask, an extension for accessing Ethereum enabled applications, or “Dapps”, on browsers (Chrome/Firefox/Opera/Brave). MetaMask also includes a secure identity vault.
The vault provides a user interface to sign blockchain transactions and manage identities on different sites. The work is still going on, but has already stirred excitement among the Ethereum Classic community.
MetaMask support will open a plethora of possibilities for Ethereum Classic. MetaMask acts a bridget between \ Ethereum DApps and browser. Notably, it avoids the need to run a full Ethereum node.
MetaMask was primarily developed to fuel the adoption of Ethereum (ETH), the most popular smart contract platform hosting a majority of blockchain networks.

On Saturday, Saturn Network launched Radex, the first decentralized exchange for trading Ethereum Classic. Radex is the only decentralized exchange, which has on-chain order book. Ethereum Classic team has also removed the difficulty bomb – lines of code that will make mining difficult and even impossible in the future – on the last week of May. All these factors have enabled the cryptocurrency to remain stable despite the onslaught in the cryptocurrency market. At the time of writing this article, Ethereum Classic is trading at $14.96, with a 2% gain.
