ESPN reported that the Larry Nassar was stabbed 10 times by another inmate on 09 July and two of those stab wounds were to the neck. There was no clear information as to what resulted in the altercation or the name of his attacker. The Tampa prison is a maximum security federal prison.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons did not confirm that it was Nassar that sustained an attack but did release a statement which said that an attack did take place and the victim survived and was now in a stable condition. Nassar’s Victims Don’t Take Pleasure In The Attack
Some of the girls that he sexually abused during his time as a sports doctor took to social media to share their thoughts on how they feel about the attack. One of them was Rachael Denhollander who was the first victim to come out and accuse Nassar of sexual abuse.
Justice is conformity to what is right. It should be pursued and fought for.
Forgiveness is releasing personal vengeance and desiring for the offender to find true repentance and peace.
I am holding both especially today. https://t.co/5LREwJZ6O6

For ALL our sakes, we desperately wish he had chosen differently.
The farthest we can run from what Larry became, is to love. That isn't at odds with justice, but it means we aren't finding entertainment value in destruction either.

The 57 year old Nassar is likely to spend the rest of his life behind bars as he was also sentenced to an additional 40 to 175 years in a state prison in Michigan.
