Jake Paul has mastered the art of staying in the media even when he is not fighting as he likes try and set up fights on social media.

Paul was scheduled to fight Tommy Fury on August 6 but the fight fell through after Tommy who is Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’s” brother did not get his U.S visa approved.

Paul has managed to schedule another opponent to face him on short notice. Jake Paul will take on Hasim Rahman, Jr. in Madison Square Garden on August 6 and if he wins, he is keen on fighting Conor McGregor.

Jake Offers McGregor $100M Payday

Jake appeared on The MMA Hour this week to not talk about his fight with Hasim Rahman, Jr. but to focus on a potential fight after he beats Rahman, Jr. “The Problem Child” has targeted the biggest superstar in MMA and called out Conor McGregor.

 

This is not the first time that Jake has called out McGregor but this time he threw in some numbers and claims that between the two of them, they would be able to generate between $75 to $100 million each. Jake claims that both he and McGregor are businessmen and McGregor would be a fool to walk away from this kind of money.

McGregor Insults Jake Paul and Shoots Down Fight

It did not take long for the Irish superstar to respond to Jake Paul and it wasn’t a reply that Jake would like. McGregor responded on Twitter and pointed out to Jake that he has fought twice and done 70,000 pay-per-view sales. He went on to insult and tell him that he was a flop and called him a kid!

Conor McGregor is the highest paid MMA star in the world and also has several business interests including his Proper 12 Irish Whisky. UFC President Dana White has said in the past that McGregor no longer needs to fight for money as he has it made, especially after his fight with Floyd Mayweather brought him close to $100 million.

McGregor is known for selling massive pay-per-view cards but it’s clear that he has no plans to do it with Jake Paul. McGregor is expected to make a return to the Octagon by the end of 2022 or early 2023.
