CoinPoker Agrees To Be Official Sponsor Of The 2018 APT

CoinPokerThe 2018 Asian Poker Tour (APT) joins the blockchain revolution in the poker industry as it partners with CoinPoker for its upcoming tournament.

CoinPoker has just come on board the 2018 APT as its official sponsor and will give players the opportunity to buy-in to APT live tournament events using CoinPoker’s proprietary cryptocoin CHP. Players will be able to access the CoinPoker website and buy-in to the 2018 APT.

CoinPoker will host three satellites to the APT on their website and will offers seats and packages to the 2018 APT Macau Main Event.

The first satellite event will be a freeroll held on April 15. The winner of the satellite event will be given a ticket to the APT Macau Main Event seat for his efforts. The second satellite is scheduled on April 19 and has a 4,000 CHP buy-in, where APT packages are up for grabs. The third and last satellite will be held on April 22 and has a buy-in of 3,000 CHP. There will be more APT Macau Main Event seats will be awarded to the winners at the satellite.

In total, there will be 10 APT Macau Main Event seats and packages that can be won via CoinPoker satellites. The APT packages will not only include a Main Event seat but also accommodations and travel expenses. The Main Even seats are worth HK$10,000, and will give the players a chance to take a crack at the guaranteed Main Event prize pool of HK$2 million.



Asian Poker Tour Growing In Popularity

Sarah Hamid, head of content of CoinPoker said that the cryptocurrency poker room was excited to partner with the APT. In a statement, Hamid said,

We are nevertheless excited that the APT will be offering CHP as a new payment solution for its players, and look forward to encouraging our fans to participate through a number of partner promotions.

The 2018 APT Macau tournament will take place at the Macau Billionaire Poker room inside the Babylon Casino and will run from April 25 to May 6. After the 2018 APT’s stop in Macau, the tour will head over to Seoul, South Korea and run from June 15 to 24 and then go to Vietnam for the Ho Chi Minh Championships which takes place from July 11 to 22.
