Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel has officially opened its brand-new casino floor expansion.

The addition is an important milestone in North Carolina’s casino and hotel’s $275 million expansion project.

25,000 Square Feet of New Gambling Space

The expanded casino space spans 25,000 square feet and introduces visitors to a curated selection of new gaming options.

The new offering includes 300 brand-new slots as well as eight extra table games to add to the fun.

The gaming lineup has also been considerably boosted through the addition of the highly requested World Series of Poker – Poker Room.

The new poker room features a lavish design. Poker aficionados and casino players are going to enjoy the upscale ambiance and the rich selection of cash games with popular options like Texas Hold’em and Three Card Poker.

The poker room will be open Sunday-Thursday from 10:00 am to 2:00 am. The weekend schedule runs Friday-Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 am.

New Casino Bar

Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River has also added a new casino bar with 22 seats on the expanded floor.

Patrons can expect to get access to the latest bar-top video games, along with eight different beer tap options, and special bar and lounge seating accessible daily from 9:00 am to 2:00 am.

Commenting on the fresh expansion, general manager Lumpy Lambert expressed their excitement for being able to reach the new milestone in their expansion process.

GM Lambert also called the expanded gaming floor “the culmination of months of hard work and dedication” from both their internal team members as well the general contractor, Robins & Morton.

Lambert further explained that all the details of the casino floor expansion were carefully chosen “to ensure memorable experiences” for patrons and players.

He also expressed confidence in the fact that the new amenities and offerings would exceed the expectations of their guests.

The four-star hotel and popular gaming destination is located just an easy drive from Atlanta and Chattanooga and delivers top entertainment in Western North Carolina.
