888poker has announced a new partnership with American mixed-martial arts company The Professional Fighters League (PFL) for the upcoming PFL Europe Championship in December.
The new alliance offers a great opportunity for both brands to reach a wider audience, given the growing overlap between poker and MMA.
PFL-888poker Partnership
PFL’s new partnership with 888poker is the first-of-its-kind agreement for the MMA company’s regional MMA league, the Europe Championship. The deal will see 888poker branding being featured on the PFL SmartCage during the event which is scheduled for December 8 in Dublin, Ireland.
The collaboration will also include other promotional efforts from both brands in the lead-up to and throughout the highly anticipated event, according to a press release from PFL. The two parties have yet to release further details on future affairs linked to the partnership, but they are expected to launch some exciting activities for both poker and MMA fans.
Poker and MMA may appear like two very different worlds but they actually have a lot in common, especially in terms of the mental and strategic aspects involved in both sports. Poker, just like MMA, requires mental fortitude, discipline, great focus, and the ability to make the right decisions under pressure.

Latest Edition of 888poker’s KO Games Kicks off on Nov. 26
The partnership deal comes as 888poker gets ready for the return of its popular KO Games series which runs from November 26 to December 12 and offers over $1 million in guaranteed prizes. The series features 29 bounty and mystery bounty events, headlined by two $200K GTD events, the $162 buy-in Mystery Bounty and the $25 buy-in KO Games Mystery Bounty Main Event, both of which carry a jackpot mystery bounty of $20,000.
