The Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WiPHoF) has formally announced this year's candidates for induction into its hallowed halls. There were originally 50 submissions made, but the committee cut it down to less than a dozen.
For this year, 11 women are going to be up for the honor of joining the Women in Poker Hall of Fame.
There will be a voting panel that consists of the Hall of Fame committee, industry leaders, and media personnel. Their votes will determine who will be joining the 19 women who are already part of the Hall of Fame.
The votes will then be tallied and the winners will be announced in May. The formal induction ceremony will be held at the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas on June 26.
