The NBA Playoffs are in full swing and the best series match-up might be the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics. Both of these teams had really solid a really solid regular season and are putting on a very good series. Now through two games of the series, the Celtics and Bucks are tied at one game each. The Celtics took the first game with a 22 point win.
The Bucks followed up that game with a 21 point win. The series is now heading to Boston where the Celtics are looking to take a couple games to take the advantage. The Bucks have an advantage being the top seed but you can never count the Celtics out in the playoffs, especially with Kyrie Irving.
For game three at home the Celtics are a two point favourite. The over / under is 219.5 points.
The Bucks Seek to Take Control
After a sweep in the first round, the Bucks have a much more formidable opponent in the Boston Celtics. The key to the Bucks success is undoubtedly Giannis Antetokounmpo. He leads the Bucks in scoring and rebounding all while being one of the toughest players to guard in the NBA. He is scoring 26.0 points a game thus far this postseason.
Antetokounmpo is also bringing down 10.8 rebounds a game to lead the team. Adding in a block and a steal each game he is almost as good on the defensive end. The Bucks played much better in the second game of the series and defended the pick-and-roll a lot better leading to the win. They set a franchise record with 20 3-pointers and they are looking to keep it going
Celtics Look to Take Home Win
After getting a big win in the first game of the series the Celtics fell in game two. It has been a full team effort this postseason as no one player has really taken over. Kyrie Irving leads the team scoring 20.8 points a game. Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris and Gordon Heyward are all right behind him as they all average between 11.2 and 14.3 points a game this postseason.
Horford is leading the team in rebounding and Irving has dished out 7.7 assists per game so far this postseason. The Celtics are looking to nab a couple wins at home before heading back to Milwaukee. With the way that the Celtics play at home I wouldn’t be surprised to see them head back to Milwaukee with a 3-1 lead.
Celtics Should Bounce Back
Even though the Bucks are 5-1 against the spread over their last six games the Celtics are really good at home. Even though they finished the season on a rough note the Celtics play well on their home floor. The Celtics are a team that is built for the big moments and this game is a big moment for them to prove themselves.
Look for Irving to step up and have a huge performance. Take the Celtics and the over.
