Both parties recently signed a two-year deal ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix – Formula 1 Night Race which takes place from September 15-17 on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
MBS-Scuderia Ferrari Partnership Highlights
The new partnership will include “dedicated activations” at the integrated resort, according to announcements from both the MBS and Scuderia Ferrari. The partnership activations will involve Scuderia Ferrari’s Formula One drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr., as well as the racing team’s principal and general manager, Frederic Vasseur.
Leclerc and Sainz are currently fifth and seventh respectively in the FIA Formula 1 rankings after the Belgian Grand Prix on July 30.
To celebrate the fresh collaboration, a replica of the Scuderia Ferrari race car SF90 (pictured), which participated in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2019, will be on display at the lobby of Hotel Tower 1 at MBS. Motorsport fans and hotel guests get the chance to personally see the replica from September 11 to 18.
The iconic façade of MBS, which includes the three cascading hotel towers and underbelly of Sands SkyPark, will also be lit up in Ferrari red throughout the night race, with the casino resort also offering exclusive hotel packages.
Welcoming the partnership, Paul Town, Chief Operating Officer at MBS, described Scuderia Ferrari as the most successful F1 team in history, and the collaboration brings together two iconic brands with a shared passion for excellence.
Paul Gandolfi, Head of Partnership Development at Scuderia Ferrari, was equally delighted with the new collaboration, saying it will create memorable experiences for both racing fans and hotel customers, beginning with the Singapore Grand Prix.
