  • Things are heating up between Red Bull and Lewis Hamilton ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
  • Red Bull Team Principle Christian Horner earlier said Lewis Hamilton approached him to switch over
  • Hamilton who is contracted to Mercedes has denied those reports and said Horner reached out to him

The final race of the F1 season is set to take place on Nov 26 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. Max Verstappen who drives for Red Bull has already won the F1 Championship as he has been phenomenal yet again this season and will want to win in Abu Dhabi to record his 19th win of the season.

This will also be an important race for Lewis Hamilton who races for Mercedes as he hasn’t won a single race this season and would love to finish the last Grand Prix of the season with a win! However there’s a lot going on ahead of the Abu Dhabi Grad Prix and Hamilton is in the thick of it!

Horner Claim Hamilton Wants To Join Red Bull

Red Bull Team Principle Christian Horner earlier this week made a big announcement when he went public and claimed that Hamilton had reached out to him to express his interest in switching over from Mercedes and joining Red Bull.

Hamilton is widely regarded to be one of the great F1 drivers in the history of the sport as he has 7 F1 Championships to his name and a record 103 F1 wins. However, the Brit has struggled this season and hasn’t been very impressed with the performance of Mercedes. Hamilton signed a 24 month contract with Mercedes earlier this year that requires him to be with Mercedes till 2025.

Red Bull has had tremendous success over the last couple of years with Max Verstappen winning in 2022 and now in 2023.

Hamilton Disputes Reaching Out To Red Bull

Hamilton addressed the rumours of him wanting to join Red Bull and disputed Horner’s claims. Instead, Hamilton said it was the other way around as Horner was the one who got in touch with him.

In a statement, Hamilton said

I’ve not approached Christian. I haven’t spoken to Christian for years and no one from my team has. I’ve checked with everyone, no one from my team has reached out to him. However, he had reached out to me about meeting up at the end of the season.

All things casino related are what interests Landon, and having been involved in that industry for the last thirty years and having actually worked in several different roles in the casino industry he is definitely very well placed to keep you in the know in regards to what is happening in the casino industry as a whole.
