King’s Casino Set To Host 2018 WSOPE & WSOP Circuit Events

King's Casino RozvadovThe 2018 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is currently taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada and poker players from all over the world have flown in. The WSOP announced earlier this week that poker pros can also look forward to the WSOP Europe and WSOP Circuit events taking place at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

Kings Casino hosted the WSOP Europe edition for the first time in 2017 and it turned out to be a great success. Kings Casino which has the largest poker room in Europe will now host the 2018 edition and is expected to continue to host the WSOP Europe version going forward. This has turned out to be a fruitful partnership between the WSOP and King’s Casino since both parties have committed to a multi-year partnership with no specific end date.

The effectiveness of the partnership also showed in the results of the 2017 WSOP Europe edition which attracted 7,689 entries and more than €25 million euros in prize money.

WSOP Europe To Feature €13 Million In GTD Prize Money

According to WSOP executive director Ty Stewart, the WSOP will be bringing a number of bracelet events and at least €13 million in guarantees to the European festival which will be held from October 9 to 28.

Some of the most anticipated events at the WSOP Europe include the 5-day €550 Colossus event which has a €1 million guaranteed prize pool, the €100,000 King’s Super High Roller and the €10,350 Main Event which has a €5 million guarantee. The Big One For One Drop event which was present in 2017 will not be making a comeback this year.

The 2018 WSOP Circuit is also scheduled to take place at King’s Casino from September 20 to October 8, right before the WSOP Europe. A total of 12 gold rings will be up for grabs throughout the WSOP Circuit.
