MMA superstar Conor McGregor is out of action till 2021 after breaking his leg during his last fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. However, McGregor is still making headlines for his antics outside the Octagon yet again.
Conor McGregor is spending time in California getting treatment for his leg. McGregor and his long-time fiancée Dee Devlin were invited to the MTV Video Music Awards which took place on Sep 12 at the Barclays Center. Social media was flooded with reports over an altercation between McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK).
A lot of MMA fans may not know much about MGK other than the fact that he is going out with celebrity Megan Fox who was also present with MGK at the VMAs.
MGK is an American rapper whose real name is “Colson Baker“. He isn’t as famous as McGregor or Megan Fox but does have a strong fan following with over 8 million followers on Instagram.
Videos circulating on social media show security stepping in to prevent Conor McGregor from advancing towards MGK. Some reports suggest that McGregor wanted an autograph of MGK but he refused and this upset McGregor.
Others claim that MGK bumped McGregor who had a cane in one hand and a glass in the other. McGregor spilled some of his whisky and as a result threw the remaining whisky at MGK.
McGregor quickly addressed the situation and said that he only fights real fighters and did not know who MGK was apart from the fact that he was going out with Megan Fox.

McGregor’s face looked puffed as he if was suffering from a hangover. MMA fans trolled McGregor once again claiming that his drinking and alleged cocaine use was once again causing him to pick fights out of the Octagon. McGregor assaulted an older gentleman in Ireland named Desmond Keogh in 2019 after he turned down a free drink of McGregor’s Proper 12 Whisky.
McGregor has received a lot of stick on social media over the last few months after suffering a second consecutive loss to Poirier. A number of UFC fighters have also come down hard on McGregor claiming that he is no longer the fighter than he used to be.
The UFC is yet to release a statement on the altercation and are unlikely to as there is no official complaint made against McGregor as of now!
