Jackie Young delivered one of the best performances of her career Monday night, recording her third career triple-double as the Las Vegas Aces cruised to a convincing 109 to 87 WNBA victory over the Atlanta Dream.

The Aces’ Game from Start to End

Young ended the night with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, reaching the milestone courtesy of Brianna Turner’s assist with roughly two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

The play extended Las Vegas’ lead to 101 to 81 and capped a dominant all-around performance.

The Aces were in control of the game from start to finish, leading by as many as 28 points while improving to 21- 9 on the season.
A’ja Wilson added another impressive outing with 23 points and also reached a significant career milestone. Wilson recorded the 587th blocked shot of her WNBA career, moving past Lauren Jackson into sixth place on the league’s all-time blocks list.

NaLyssa Smith contributed 18 points, while Chelsea Gray added 17 points and six assists as the Aces’ balanced offense proved too much for Atlanta to handle.

The Dream entered the contest riding a five-game winning streak but struggled to keep pace offensively, particularly from long range. Atlanta made just four of its 25 attempts from beyond the arc, while Young connected on four of her seven three-point attempts to help fuel Las Vegas’ attack.

Reese Shone Bright Again

The loss didn’t stop Angel Reese from continuing her remarkable season, as she finished with 23 points and 16 rebounds for her 20th double-double of the year.

The standout forward has now recorded a 20-point double-double in five of her last six games, further strengthening her breakout campaign.

Rhyne Howard added 19 points for Atlanta, which dropped to 18- 11 after seeing its winning streak come to an end.

Las Vegas showcased its championship pedigree throughout the night, combining efficient offense with strong defensive pressure to keep Atlanta from mounting a serious comeback.

The victory gives the Aces additional momentum as they continue their push toward the top of the WNBA standings, while the Dream will look to quickly regroup after having one of the league’s hottest stretches brought to an end.
