Ronda Rousey’s move from the UFC to the WWE is now complete as ‘Rowdy’ won her first Championship belt at the recently concluded WWE SuperSlam show. It took Ronda just a little over 3 months for her to establish herself in the promotion and steal thunder by defeating Alexa Bliss and securing Raw Women’s Championship.
UFC President Dana White has gone on record multiple times for saying that Ronda Rousey was responsible for putting women’s MMA on the map with her performances. She was the UFC bantamweight champion for a long time in the promotion till she suffered her first loss which mentally broke her. Her attempt to regain her UFC belt also ended in disaster and after two consecutive losses, she decided to move to the WWE.
Ronda knows that the WWE is play acting but the decorated superstar is taking her commitment to the WWE very seriously and has promised to once again do her best to shine the spotlight on women and help them have a bigger platform.

UFC Stars Stand Behind Rousey
MMA fans might have turned on Ronda Rousey for abandoning MMA and turning to fake wrestling to make a living. However, a number of UFC stars have shown support for Rousey and truth be told they would also be interested in getting a gig at the WWE and earning a nice paycheck for fake wrestling.
UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier congratulated Ronda and referred to her as the champ. Cormier was also quick to respond to her haters who accused her of winning a fake belt.
Champ!!!! @RondaRousey squashed her!!! Congrats champ! #childhooddream pic.twitter.com/xuT2bhSogu

UFC former middleweight champion Chris Weidman also had good things to say tweeting that Ronda put in an awesome performance and crushed it at SummerSlam.
Wow ! @RondaRousey just crushed here at #SummerSlam !!! Awesome performance!! #champ pic.twitter.com/p1yAE7ofMG

Cris Cyborg also sent out a tweet but there was more than a hint of sarcasm in it. Cyborg always wanted to fight Rousey to prove who the “baddest woman on the planet” really was but that match vanished after Rousey suffered two defeats. Cyborg congratulated Rousey referring to her as the baddest woman on the planet and referred to herself as the most feared woman on the planet!
Congrats to the baddest woman on the planet @rondarousey on the first of many @wwe belts.
Sincerely,
The most feared woman on the planet. #cyborgnation pic.twitter.com/kPmGxABuYd— CyborgVNunes (@criscyborg) August 20, 2018
