Caitlin Clark’s record-breaking streak doesn’t seem to have any end in sight.
The Indiana Fever rookie phenomenon established a new Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) rookie single-season scoring record following the thrilling 110-109 victory over the Dallas Wings.
The 22-year-old scored a career-high 35 points, surpassing Seimone Augustus’ 2006 record with 761 points this season.
The Hall-of-Famer set her record after scoring 744 points for the Minnesota Lynx in her rookie year.
Sunday’s game remained close, with Fever center Aliyah Boston sinking critical free throws, and Dallas’ Satou Sabally’s last-second three-pointer falling short.
Clark also contributed eight assists, three rebounds, and three steals, further solidifying her impressive rookie campaign.
Kelsey Mitchell Scored 27 Points
Teammate Kelsey Mitchell was also on top of her game, scoring 27 points. Together, the powerful duo hit 12 of their team’s 16 three-pointers that helped beat the Wings 110-109.
Commenting after the game, Mitchell said she was “very grateful to be able to do it with such a young and vibrant group” adding that, for them, “the sky’s the limit, because no one thought we’d be here”.
Clark, who broke the rookie records for assists and three-pointers in August, prior to breaking the WNBA single-season assist record on Friday and setting the single-game assist record in July, also took the opportunity to say that when she and Micthell

Sunday’s win brought Indiana its 20th win of the season.
Indiana was coming off a series of back-to-back losses to two-time defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces.
Clark’s team clinched the No. 6 seed in the playoffs, scheduled to start on Sunday. In the first round, they will meet third-seed Connecticut Sun, the winner of three of the four regular-season matchups between the teams.
Indiana also tied its franchise record in terms of scoring in a single game along with the season high for made 3s.
The team made 38 of 76 from the field while shooting 47% from three-point range and hitting 18 of 21 from the free-throw line.
