Lebron James and his family were shocked to learn that their oldest son Bronny James had suffered a cardiac arrest while he was training at USC.
The 18 year old is taking in the footsteps of his father who is considered by many to be one of the greatest players to have played in the NBA.
Bronny James Suffers Cardiac Arrest
Bronny who is starting out his freshman year is currently the 6th rated point guard for the 2023 class and is ranked in 20th place on the ESPN 100 rankings. Bronny was training as he was set to be a part of USC’s exhibition tour in Greece and Croatia when he suffered a cardiac arrest at the Galen Center on July 24. He was rushed to the ICU for immediate medical attention and they were able to save him.
A representative for the James family told the press
Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information. LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.
This is the second year in a row when a Trojans player has suffered a cardiac arrest. Vincent Iwuchukwu suffered a cardiac arrest in July 2022 and had to be in hospital for a few days till his condition stabilized.
Elon Musk Casts Shadow Over COVID-19 Vaccine
Billionaire Elon Musk who owns Twitter (now renamed as X) put out a tweet which cast a shadow on the COVID-19 vaccine. Musk tweeted
We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing.
Myocarditis is a known side-effect. The only question is whether it is rare or common.
