Roger Federer has won 8 Wimbledon championships<\/em> in his career till date while Serena Williams is not far behind with 7 Wimbledon championships<\/em>. Both Federer and Williams are 37 years old and are not very far from calling it a day and retiring. <\/p>\n

However, both of them would dearly like to win the 2019 Wimbledon championship<\/a> as Federer has made it to the quarter-finals and Serena has booked a spot in the semis. <\/p>\n

Federer Has A Tough Road Ahead<\/h2>\n

Two of Roger Federer\u2019s biggest rivals have also made it to the quarter-finals. The number 1 seed Novak Djokovic<\/strong> and number 3 seed Rafael Nadal<\/strong> should beat their opponents and make it to the semi-finals. <\/p>\n

Based on the seeding at Wimbledon, Federer has a much tougher challenge in the quarter-final as he takes on the 8th seed Kei Nishikori<\/strong>.
