The Dodgers and the Nationals are meeting in a four-game series as part of Washington\u2019s west coast swing. <\/p>\n<p>The Nationals took the first game and now sit at 15-22 on the season. The Dodgers dropped to 25-15 after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalbaseball.com\/2019\/5\/10\/18563255\/washington-nationals-snap-four-game-slide-6-0-win-over-los-angeles-dodgers\">6-0 loss<\/a> and it snapped a three-game win streak that they held. <\/p>\n<p>This series with the Nationals is part of a nine game home stand for the Dodgers. <\/p>\n<p>The first series saw the Braves come to town and up next are the Padres. In this one the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/reviews\/betonline\">Dodgers are favoured by 1.5 runs at BetOnline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Dodgers Look to Get Back to Winning<\/h2>\n<p>The Dodgers have been a team of streaks this season. They started off the year very hot and then lost six games in a row to fall to 8-8. After that losing streak the Dodgers won six in a row and have been piecing together the wins and losses since then. <strong>Cody Bellinger<\/strong> is making a run at the MVP this year as he is off to a sustained insane start. He is batting .396 with 14 home runs.<\/p>\n<p>Bellinger already has 38 RBI as well and an on <em>base percentage of .478<\/em>. He is doing all of this while not striking out much as he only has 23 on the season. <strong>Kenta Maeda<\/strong> takes the mound tonight fresh off a six inning outing where he allowed four runs. Maeda has an <em>ERA of 4.66 this season and a win-loss record of 3-2<\/em>. The Dodgers have lost Maeda\u2019s last four decisions. <\/p>\n<h2>Nationals are Finding Their Footing<\/h2>\n<p>The Nationals have simply gotten off to an awful start this season. At one point they managed to get to 9-8 but since then there have been a ton of losses. They are coming into this series fresh off of getting swept by the Brewers. Prior to the win last night, the Nationals had lost four games in a row. <\/p>\n<p>This year, the Nationals have won two games in a row just three times and after winning three of their first six series on the season have not won a series since. They have lost a series to the Marlins, lost three of four to the Cardinals, and just got swept. Things are not looking too good post <strong>Bryce Harper<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/anibalsanchez19\">Anibal Sanchez<\/a> takes the mound tonight. Sanchez has failed to go more than<em> 5.2 innings<\/em> in all but one of his seven starts. He has a <em>5.15 ERA and is 0-5 on the season<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Dodgers Get Back on Track<\/h2>\n<p>The Dodgers are a much better team than the Nationals and I fully expect them to get back into the win column tonight. The Dodgers had an off night and usually that means bit things the next evening. <\/p>\n<p>This is a favourable matchup for them with Sanchez on the mound. The Nationals have not been able to string wins together and they aren&#8217;t going to start against the best team in baseball.
