BlackRock\u2019s CEO Larry Fink <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/worlds-largest-fund-forms-panel-to-study-cryptocurrency-sector\/\">has denied the information,<\/a> originally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fnlondon.com\/articles\/blackrock-begins-exploration-of-bitcoin-20180716\">provided by the reporter of Financial News,<\/a> London. <\/p>\n<p>When the news first came out of the U.K., cryptocurrency and financial news websites across the globe flashed it in the front-page, leading to a rally in the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin gained nearly 4% within an hour, while the crypto industry\u2019s market capitalization jumped 10 billion USD in that time span.<\/p>\n<p>Several analysts were taken aback by the unexpected news as the fund is known for its conservative stance towards cryptocurrency. Notably, none of the media reports made an outright claim that BlackRock intends to create a Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency fund. <\/p>\n<p>Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, gave an interview to Bloomberg Television this morning.
