Gunners firing once again<\/a><\/h2>\n

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is under immense pressure, so a 3-0 home win over Watford on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium will have been a welcome one.<\/p>\n

The Gunners took just eight minutes to get on the scoresheet. Defender Shkodran Mustafi headed home from a free-kick from compatriot Mesut Ozil to give the home side a lift.<\/p>\n

Wenger\u2019s side added a second just before the hour mark. Henrikh Mkhitaryan ran at the Watford defence before finding striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who fired a powerful effort past the Watford \u2018keeper.<\/p>\n

The Hornets were handed a golden opportunity to force their way back into the game when Ainsley Maitland-Niles upended Roberto Pereyra in the Arsenal area. However, Hornets skipper Troy Deeney could only fire the spot-kick straight at Gunners \u2018keeper Petr Cech. The home side sealed their victory with 13 left on the clock, as Aubameyang returned the favour to Mkhitaryan, who fired past Karnezis in the Watford goal.<\/p>\n

With all the teams around them winning, the win did little to increase the Gunners chances of a top-four finish this season. The team from north London are very much outsiders for a Champions League spot<\/a><\/strong>, 12 points behind fourth-place Liverpool.<\/p>\n

However, the win will no doubt help morale at the north London club, with an important Europa League tie against AC Milan coming up on Thursday night. Watford remain tenth place, nine points clear of the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

Spurs record win at Bournemouth despite Kane blow<\/a><\/h2>\n

\"\"Arsenal\u2019s north London rivals Tottenham recorded a 4-1 away win at Bournemouth. However, one of the biggest talking points of the game was that Spurs striker Harry Kane sustained an ankle injury.<\/p>\n

The home side took the lead on seven minutes, as Junior Stanislas fired home on the half-volley from an Adam Smith cross. Kane saw a goal ruled out for offside shortly before the hour mark before he sustained an ankle that saw him replaced by Erik Lamela.<\/p>\n

However, Spurs made light of Kane\u2019s injury and equalised on 35 minutes. Attacking midfielder Dele Alli tapped home from a low Serge Aurier cross. The north London side took the lead just after the hour mark, as Heung-min Son scored with an acrobatic first-time effort after an excellent dinked pass from Alli.<\/p>\n

The South Korean sealed all three points with just three minutes left on the clock, as he rounded Asmir Begovic to bag his second goal of the game. There was still time for Aurier to score the fourth goal in stoppage-time, heading home at the back post.<\/p>\n

The result was a good one for Tottenham. However, the loss of Kane will be a huge concern for the Spurs and for England. One positive from the game was that it did move the north London side up to third in the table a point ahead of fourth-place Liverpool and five points clear of fifth-place Chelsea. Bournemouth are 12th<\/sup> place in the table, six points above the relegation zone.<\/p>\n
