Chelsea 0-3 Bournemouth<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

\"BournemouthIn one of the biggest surprises of the Premier League campaign so far, struggling Bournemouth recorded a shock victory over reigning Premier League champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

The first-half failed to produce any goals. However, the visitors burst into life in the second period. Eddie Howe\u2019s side took the lead on 51 minutes. Jordon Ibe played a superb ball through the centre of the Chelsea defence and striker Callum Wilson kept his cool to fire past Thibaut Courtois.<\/p>\n

Wilson was again influential in the second goal on 64 minutes, finding winger Junior Stanislas down the left. Stanislas then advanced on goal before prodding the ball past Courtois. The Cherries were in dreamland three minutes later, as former Chelsea centre-back Nathan Ake tapped home at the far post.<\/p>\n

The victory moved the team from the south coast up into the top-half of the Premier League table. Chelsea meanwhile remain fourth-place but are now looking over their shoulders nervously at fifth-place Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Tottenham 2-0 Manchester United<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Tottenham closed the gap on London rivals Chelsea by recording a 2-0 home win over second-place Manchester United at Wembley.<\/p>\n

The home side took the lead before the minute mark. Heung Min-Son saw an effort on goal blocked, but Christian Eriksen reacted the quickest to score from the rebound.<\/p>\n

Both teams had chances on goal before Tottenham doubled their lead on 28 minutes. Kieran Trippier fired in a cross looking for Kane, only for Phil Jones to divert the ball past his own \u2018keeper David De Gea. Again, both teams had chances to get on the scoresheet in the second half. However, the north London side held on for what could prove a vital win in the race for the Champions League spots.<\/p>\n

As mentioned earlier, Mauricio Pochettino\u2019s team are just two points behind fourth-place Chelsea in the table and six points clear of arch-rivals Arsenal, who are sixth-place in the table. Second-place United are now a massive 15 points behind league leaders Manchester City and just three points ahead of third-place Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Manchester City 3-0 West Brom<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Manchester City recorded a routine victory over bottom of the table West Brom at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Citizens took just 19 minutes to take the lead against the struggling Baggies. Kevin De Bruyne played a superb ball to Fernandinho, who slid the ball through Ben Foster\u2019s legs.<\/p>\n

The home side did not add their second until the second period. De Bruyne was once again involved in the move. The Belgian evaded James McClean\u2019s attempt at stopping him to get on the end of Raheem Sterling pass and fire beyond Foster.<\/p>\n

City striker Sergio Aguero completed the scoring with just a minute left on the clock. The Argentinian international picked up a pass from Sterling dinking the ball over Foster to give the scoreline a better reflection of the game. The goal was the strikers 17th<\/sup> of the season in the Premier League. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The victory means that City are 15 points clear at the top of the Premier League table. Pep Guardiola\u2019s side remain heavy favourites for the title<\/a><\/strong>, while some bookmakers have stopped taking bets on City winning the league. Meanwhile, the visitors remain bottom of the table and are now four points away from safety. The Baggies face a relegation six-pointer with Southampton this weekend.<\/p>\n

My Beginnings My love for sports has always been a big part of my life. It all started with my dad and me playing in the backyard, but I continued to play sports throughout both elementary and high school.
