Crystal Palace 1-0 Burnley<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Crystal Palace recorded what could be a massive win at Selhurst Park to move five points clear of the Premier League relegation zone. The only goal of the game arrived on 21 minutes. Christian Benteke found Bakary Sako, who fired a shot from a tight angle through the legs of James Tarkowski and past Nick Pope.<\/p>\n

Burnley remains seventh in the top-flight table. However, the Clarets have now failed to win in their last six games in the Premier League. The Eagles are now outsiders for the drop this season<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Huddersfield 1-4 West Ham<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

West Ham pulled off a vital victory to move themselves up to 11th<\/sup> place in the Premier League table. The Irons are now five points clear of the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

The visitors took the lead on 25 minutes. Hammers captain Mark noble slotted home after a mix up between goalkeeper Jonas Lossl and midfielder Joe Lolley. The Terriers equalised on 40 minutes, as Aaron Mooy found Lolley, who curled a superb effort into the bottom corner.<\/p>\n

West Ham regained the lead early in the second half. Marko Arnautovic lifted the ball over Tommy Smith before firing a low effort past Lossl. The Irons extended their lead on 56 minutes. Arnautovic showed good pace to get away from Christopher Schindler before finding Manuel Lanzini. The Argentinian playmaker fired an effort across Lossl and into the net.<\/p>\n

Arnautovic and Lanzini were involved in the fourth goal. Arnautovic again took on Schindler and Lanzini took the ball off him before firing high into the roof of the net.<\/p>\n

The result means that Huddersfield dropped to 13th<\/sup> place in the Premier League table, four points clear of the drop zone after the Irons leapfrogged them with the win.<\/p>\n

West Brom 2-0 Brighton<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Struggling West Brom boosted their chances of surviving the drop by recording their first win under boss Alan Pardew and end a run of 19 Premier League games without a win.<\/p>\n

The Baggies enjoyed a dream start, taking the lead on four minutes. Jay Rodriguez nodded on a Matty Phillips corner on to Jonny Evans, who headed home from close-range.<\/p>\n

Brighton started the second half more brightly. However, the Baggies doubled their lead ten minutes into the second period. Chris Brunt fired in a powerful cross and full-back Craig Dawson produced a powerful effort that bounced into the floor and past Mat Ryan.<\/p>\n

The victory moved the side from the Midlands to within two points of safety down the bottom of the league. Meanwhile, the visitors will now be looking over their shoulders, as the Seagulls are now 15th<\/sup> place, just three points clear of the relegation zone. Chris Hughton\u2019s side have now won just one of their last 12 Premier League games, worrying form for the south coast side.<\/p>\n
