Our product is significantly better than theirs. However, they\u2019re making massive advances. Every week, it seems like their product gets better, so I\u2019m under no pretense that they won\u2019t have a great product too. At that point, they will be a formidable competitor.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hession emphasized that Caesars respects state gaming regulations and is not participating in prediction markets, which Nevada and other states have deemed illegal. <\/p>\n<h2>What Do Locals Expect? <\/h2>\n<p>For Summerlin locals, the new sportsbook will provide a convenient option without a trip to the Strip. The property features 20 self-service wagering kiosks, over-the-counter betting, and the ability to sign up for mobile accounts on site. <\/p>\n<p>Hession called it a \u201c<em>significant milestone<\/em>\u201d and praised the partnership with The Resort at Summerlin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michelle McHugh<\/strong>, vice president and general manager of the resort, said the launch ahead of March Madness gives locals quick access to betting. \u201c<em>It will be such a home run for our customers<\/em>\u201d, she said, noting the resort serves mostly local residents.<\/p>\n<p>Engelland placed the <strong>first official bet, a $40 wager on the Las Vegas Raiders to win more than 5.5 games in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/sports-betting\/american-football\/nfl\">2026 NFL season<\/a><\/strong>. As a Summerlin resident, he welcomed the new sportsbook: \u201c<em>It makes you want to come to enjoy the game and place bets. It makes me want to do it a bit more.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Caesars Sportsbook app, live in 27 jurisdictions, continues to expand, offering one of Nevada\u2019s most comprehensive wagering menus, including same-game parlays, player props, futures, live in-play betting, and thousands of livestreamed marquee events.<\/p>\n<p>The new sportsbook opens at 8 a.m. on weekdays and 7:30 a.m. on weekends, with over-the-counter assistance until 9 or 10 p.m. and 24\/7 kiosk wagering available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary: Caesars has launched an upscale sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin.
