However there\u2019s a lot going on ahead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/en\/racing\/2023\/United_Arab_Emirates.html\">Abu Dhabi Grad Prix<\/a> and Hamilton is in the thick of it!<\/p>\n<h2>Horner Claim Hamilton Wants To Join Red Bull<\/h2>\n<p>Red Bull Team Principle <strong>Christian Horner<\/strong> earlier this week made a big announcement when he went public and claimed that Hamilton had reached out to him to express his interest in switching over from Mercedes and joining Red Bull.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton is widely regarded to be one of the great F1 drivers in the history of the sport as he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/lewis-hamilton-wins-record-equalling-seventh-f1-title-after-turkish-gp-victory\/\">has 7 F1 Championships to his name<\/a> and a record 103 F1 wins. However, the <strong>Brit has struggled this season and hasn\u2019t been very impressed with the performance of Mercedes<\/strong>. Hamilton signed a 24 month contract with Mercedes earlier this year that requires him to be with Mercedes till 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Red Bull has had tremendous success over the last couple of years with Max Verstappen winning in 2022 and now in 2023.<\/p>\n<h2>Hamilton Disputes Reaching Out To Red Bull<\/h2>\n<p>Hamilton addressed the rumours of him wanting to join Red Bull and disputed Horner\u2019s claims.
