The Kiwi coach\u2019s <strong>recent record shows just 5 test wins from 14 matches<\/strong>, which brings his <strong>overall win percentage to just 38 percent<\/strong> as Wallabies coach.<\/p>\n<p>This is the lowest win percentage of any Wallabies coach who has been at the helm for over 30 tests. Instead of hoping for the best at the 2023 RWC, Rugby Australia decided to take a risk and appoint <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/england-rugby-coach-eddie-jones-under-fire-for-sexist-remarks-against-emma-raducanu\/\">Eddie Jones<\/a> who coached Australia from 2001 to 2005 and helped them secure a spot in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final. <\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z5znaD8q5Lw?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Eddie Jones was the head coach for England until late 2022 when <strong>England decided to sack Jones even though he had a 73 percent win record as coach<\/strong>. England Rugby went through a string of bad performances and Jones surprised everyone when he said he wasn\u2019t worried about results and knew what he was doing. That attitude did not impress England Rugby and they showed him the door.<\/p>\n<h2>Jones Will Coach Wallabies and Wallaroos <\/h2>\n<p>Rugby Australia have given Eddie Jones a 5 year contract that will see him lead the men\u2019s team for two Rugby World Cup\u2019s. Jones has also been given added responsibility as he will also be responsible for the women\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p>Jones who is Australian said it was a great honor for him to be given the opportunity to coach his country once again.
