Abramovich recently announced that he was planning on selling Chelsea and his home in the UK. Now that sanctions have been imposed, <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Abramovich will no longer be able to sell Chelsea or his UK home until the sanctions have been lifted. Abramovich is also banned from entering the UK for now<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This ban has been enforced due to Russia\u2019s bombing of Ukraine and not for anything that Abramovich has done. The UK government <strong>estimates Abramovich\u2019s net worth to be around \u00a39.4 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The sanctions will also prevent Chelsea from buying and selling any players in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/sports-betting\/soccer\/premier-league\">Premier League<\/a> which puts the future of the club in jeopardy. The UK government will allow Chelsea to continue to play in the Premier League and will allow the club to pay its players and vendors as usual. <\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2iXRKaF1-GA?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Chelsea In Trouble As Sponsors Cut Ties<\/h2>\n<p>Chelsea is also facing trouble because a number of UK sponsors are cutting ties with the club due to the fact that it is owned by Abramovich. <strong>Three Mobile<\/strong>, which is the shirt sponsor for the club has already asked Chelsea to temporarily suspend its sponsorship deal.
