He confirmed that he had not received any COVID-19 vaccine so far and had no plans to take them in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Djokovic acknowledged that his absence from the 2022 Australian Open made it easier for his rival <strong>Rafael Nadal<\/strong> to win the championship and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/roger-federer-and-novak-djokovic-share-moving-tribute-to-rafael-nadal-for-setting-new-record\/\">create a new record of winning 21 Grand Slam tournaments<\/a>. Prior to Nadal\u2019s win, Djokovic, Nadal and Roger Federer were all tied on 20 grand slam wins. <\/p>\n<p>With the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/sports-betting\/tennis\/french-open\">French Open<\/a> currently needing a &#8216;vaccine passport&#8217; to enter the stadium, it looks like Djokovic may be missing another grand slam tournament, paving the way for Nadal to win his 22nd grand slam tournament. Though this could change as <strong>France are easing COVID-19 restrictions<\/strong> as they start to come out of &#8216;Omicron&#8217; variant and begin to &#8216;<strong>live with the virus<\/strong>&#8216;. <\/p>\n<h2>Djokovic Willing To Sacrifice His Career<\/h2>\n<p>Djokovic acknowledged the fact that all grand slam tournaments could soon make it mandatory for players to be fully vaccinated.
