This is a must win test match for the visitors as another loss on the trot will give Australia another Ashes series victory.<\/p>\n<p>English cricket fans will be disappointed with the way England has played in the first two matches. England have not put up much of a fight as some of their best players have played poorly. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/sport\/2021\/dec\/16\/ben-stokes-tries-to-bring-bodyline-back-england-toil-second-ashes-test-cricket\"><strong>Ben Stokes<\/strong> has failed with the bat and ball<\/a> and this has had a major impact on England\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a_2cBdFlV_Y?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>England\u2019s top bowlers <strong>James Anderson<\/strong> and <strong>Stuart Broad<\/strong> missed the first test match but were selected for the Adelaide test but they did not perform very well. If England are to do well at the MCG, they need to fire with both bat and ball.<\/p>\n<p>Australia are right now very confident as they have outplayed England and will look to wrap up the series 3-0 at the MCG.<\/p>\n<h2>Australia Retain Same Squad<\/h2>\n<p>The Australian selectors have already named their squad for the rest of the series. Australia has retained the same set of players that featured in the first two tests. Pat Cummins and Josh Hazelwood who missed the second test are now cleared to play at the MCG. They will return and <strong>Jhye Richardson<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Nesser<\/strong> will be left out.<\/p>\n<p>The one concern for Australia is the form of their opening batter <strong>Marcus Harris<\/strong>.
