BBC One will air a Sports Personality programme that is hosted by <strong>Gabby Logan, Clare Balding and Gary Lineker<\/strong> where they will look back at 2020 and the performances of each of these players.<\/p>\n<p>The public will be able to cast their votes online and by phone. More details will be provided during the show. Some of the other awards that will be discussed on the show include the <em>Coach of the Year<\/em>, <em>Team of the Year<\/em> and <em>World Sport Star of the Year<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Fury Asks BBC To Take Him Off The List<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/tyson-fury-drops-deontay-wilder-iii-fight-and-looks-to-fight-unnamed-opponent-in-december\/\">Tyson Fury<\/a> can be weird sometimes and he had one of those moments when he asked fans to not vote for him for the SPOTY award. He also requested the BBC to take him off the list of nominees. Fury posted a video on social media and said that he is the people\u2019s champ and does not need verification from anyone or any award to recognize what he has accomplished in the sport.<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hi this is Tyson fury the gypsy king, this is a message for the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BBCSport?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@bbcsport<\/a> and there spoty award, please take me off your list as I\u2019m the people\u2019s champion and have no need for verification or any awards. The Gypsy King\u2019s stance has made it difficult for the BBC as it means Fury will not make himself available for any interviews during the show nor will he accept the award if he ends up winning it.<\/p>\n<p>Even though Fury has taken such a stance, the BBC has confirmed that they will not be taking him of the SPOTY 2020 nomination list.
