Wilder and his team immediately invoked their rematch clause for a fight to take place this year but COVID-19 disrupted things.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Tyson Fury and his camp claimed that they were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/tyson-fury-drops-deontay-wilder-iii-fight-and-looks-to-fight-unnamed-opponent-in-december\/\">moving on from the rematch with Wilder<\/a> as they were not able to work out an agreement with Wilder\u2019s camp. <\/p>\n<p>Deontay Wilder has not responded to those remarks and the Bronze Bomber has gone off social media. Wilder who has over 2.8 million followers on Instagram last posted on Aug 24.<\/p>\n<p>The Bronze Bomber suffered his first professional lost in his career to Fury and was devastated. Wilder had a goal prior to his fight with Fury of beating Fury and then fighting Brit <strong>Anthony Joshua<\/strong> who is the <em>WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO champ<\/em>. His loss to Fury was a major setback and some pundits feel that it might be difficult for Wilder to bounce back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sporting Icons<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"901\" height=\"507\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/waH-qAMI8Wk\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>When you lose for the first time, it can be devastating. We saw this in mixed martial arts when <a href=\"https:\/\/bleacherreport.com\/articles\/2589511-ronda-rousey-loses-for-first-time-in-ufc-career-after-holly-holm-knocks-her-out\">UFC bantamweight champ <strong>Ronda Rousey<\/strong> lost for the first time<\/a>. She was devastated, went off social media and refused to do media interviews. She took a long break and came back to reclaim her belt and ended up losing again which caused her to retire.<\/p>\n<p>When Wilder lost to Fury in Feb, he initially blamed the loss on him getting weak legs which was caused by the heavy costume he wore to the ring. He hasn\u2019t said a lot after that and nobody is clear what his current mindset is. <\/p>\n<p>Anthony Joshua knows exactly how it feels to be on top of the world one day and down at the bottom the next day. The Brit is also keen to hear what Wilder has to say as it will reveal whether he is thinking about retiring or is working on a secret plan.<\/p>\n<h2>Wilder\u2019s Camp Keen On Dec Fight<\/h2>\n<p>While Wilder has remained silent, his manager <strong>Shelly Finkel<\/strong> has claimed that they are still keen on fighting Tyson Fury next and are ready anytime and anyplace.
