\"MichaelWest Indies legend Michael Holding<\/a> spoke on the Black Lives Matter<\/strong> (BLM) movement sweeping across many parts of the Western world, drawing praise from industry observers for his courage and tenacity. <\/p>\n

Holding was one of the most feared fast bowlers during his time and was known as Whispering Death<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Michael Holding is one of the most respected cricket commentators in the world and has been doing work with Sky Sports for years. International cricket returned after being suspended 117 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. England and the West Indies<\/a> were finally back to playing cricket and Holding was around to share his views. <\/p>\n

The West Indies had flag marked with Black Lives Matter flying from their player\u2019s balcony while their players also wore one black glove each, raising them in the air as they knelt before the game.<\/p>\n

Rain delayed the start of the game. To fill in the time, Sky Sport\u2019s coverage played a short interview with Ebony Rainford-Brent<\/strong>, the first black woman to play for England. After Rainford-Brent\u2019s video, Holding took up the microphone and spoke on why educating people on the racism black people face everyday was so necessary. <\/p>\n
