We take a look at some of the players who struck gold.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESPNcricinfo<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BRVPB_s3W1U?rel=0&amp;showinfo=0?ecver=2\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Foreign Players Who Broke The Bank<\/h2>\n<p>Australia vice-captain created history by becoming the highest paid foreign player in the history of the IPL after the <em>Kolkata Knight Riders<\/em> (KKR) paid out 15.5 crores to sign him. <strong>Pat Cummins<\/strong> had a base price of 2 crores. A number of Australian players also had a big payday as <strong>Glenn Maxwell<\/strong> who had a base price of 2 crores was bought by <em>Kings XI Punjab<\/em> for 10.75 crores and <strong>Nathan Coulter-Nile<\/strong> who had a base price of 1 crore was bought by the <em>Mumbai Indians<\/em> for 8 crores.<\/p>\n<p>English cricketers also did well at the IPL auction especially after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.legitgambling.com\/news\/england-lift-cricket-world-cup-despite-tying-final-twice-with-new-zealand\/\">picking up the ICC Cricket World Cup<\/a>, as their captain <strong>Eoin Morgan <\/strong>who had a base price of 1.5 crores was bought by KKR for 5.25 crores, <strong>Sam Curran<\/strong> who had a base price of 1 core was bought by the <em>Chennai Super Kings<\/em> (CSK) for 5.5 crores. West Indian players <strong>Shimron Hetmyer<\/strong> had a base price of 50 lakhs was bought for 7.75 crores by the <em>Delhi Capitals<\/em> and his mate <strong>Sheldon Cottrell<\/strong> who had a base price of 50 lakhs was bought for 8.5 crores by Kings XI Punjab.<\/p>\n<h2>Indian Players Who Had A Good Day <\/h2>\n<p><strong>Piyush Chawla<\/strong> was the highest paid Indian player who had a base price of 1 crore was signed by CSK for 6.75 crores. A number of young players like <strong>Priyam Garg, V. R. V.
